In 2020, the online multiplayer game Among Us won the hearts of players worldwide with its innovative and entertaining gameplay. It’s a multiplayer game about getting a spaceship ready for launch, but there’s a twist: you may play with anywhere from four to fifteen other people, either online or over local Wi-Fi. One of the characters is an “Impostor,” whose main objective is to eliminate the other passengers while remaining undetected.
There are two sides to the gameplay: the Crewmates and the Impostors. All tasks must be completed, or the Impostor must be found and voted off by the Crewmates. On the other hand, the Impostor must resort to sabotage to generate disorder, allowing them to eliminate Crewmates and cover their tracks more quickly.
Exciting New Task: Scrubbing the Vents
Different areas of Among Us offer exciting quests that are only available there. The vents have been made a player’s focus in a new pursuit named “Vent Clean,” which was added not too long ago. Players must be wary when working in vents since impostors frequently use them to sneak around the ship.

The success of Crewmates depends on their ability to complete missions, while the impostors cause trouble and wait for the crisis to pass. Every move requires the player’s full attention.

Crewmates and Impostors are otherwise distinguishable except for detecting corpses and convening meetings. Unlike ordinary Crewmates, impostors benefit from enhanced night vision and can more easily complete missions. At the beginning of the game, hunters are given a list of fake tasks, and their objective is to go to each location on the list and wait there so that no one else becomes suspicious.
Crew members work together to complete each duty with precision and speed. Due to the potential for signaling effects from specific actions, active Crewmates will alert the player to their surroundings. The game also features a camera room where players may spy on one another.
A player can announce or call for a meeting after determining who the Impostor is. After a set amount of time, players will vote for the person they suspect or abstain from voting if they have no strong feelings. The person with the most votes will be voted out of the game and converted into a ghost, allowing them to complete their unfinished missions but preventing them from murdering other players.
