This journey has its roots in the 2D action of Castlevania. Dead Cells’ award-winning roguelike gameplay are combined with gothic landscape and unique personalities to create an unmatched partnership.

A doorway to an impressive castle arises out of nowhere, and a fearsome warrior named Richter begs the player to cooperate in destroying the tremendous evil that dwells inside. The player starts out to explore the castle’s gardens and passageways in search of and killing the enigmatic Dracula, motivated by the prospect of finding additional valuables.

They will battle three formidable bosses and hordes of otherworldly adversaries as they progress through our biggest Expansion yet, all the while delving into a brand-new plot.

The new storyline and new locations

In this new plot, players go on a mission to defeat Dracula with the assistance of Richter Belmont and Alucard, who act as guides through the perilous labyrinth of Dracula’s Castle. These allies equip the player with potent weapons to aid in their goal, but they must be aware of fearsome adversaries who will stop at nothing to prevent them from reaching the royal room.

When they explore the castle, players will find a variety of scenarios, including secret rooms, flame-lit passageways, scary tombs, gorgeous murals, and even food concealed inside the walls. Unique series creatures, like harpies, werewolves, and haunting armor, occupy the castle’s dungeons, immersing players in a gothic fantasy realm.

Unlock new weapons and outfits

Players can use several traditional Castlevania weaponry to annihilate Dracula’s monster arsenal and finally vanquish the evil king. The Vampire Killer, Throwing Axe, and Holy Water are just a few of the 14 renowned weapons that are waiting to be unlocked. Each item has been perfectly adapted to the Dead Cells’ fast-paced battle while maintaining its original spirit.

A total of 20 character clothes may be unlocked as players advance through the castle, enabling them to roleplay as their own Castlevania characters. Alucard, Richter and Simon Belmont, Maria Renard, Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, and even Dracula are among these groups. These outfits provide players a fun method to immerse themselves in the game environment, feel like a part of the Castlevania universe, and offer a cosmetic alteration.

Epic Bosses Fight

Players will confront three epic boss battles in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania. The first two are violent clashes between Death and Dracula, both of which take place in a gorgeous setting, heightening the drama of the conflicts. These two battles symbolize the essence of evil, and players must utilize all of their abilities to defeat them.

With this DLC, players may listen to a wide range of traditional and reinvented music. A total of 51 original Castlevania tracks have been incorporated into the game’s alternate soundtrack, which may be heard throughout the game.

Furthermore, the 12 most iconic tunes, including Vampire Killer, Bloody Tears, and Simon Belmont’s Theme, have been reworked in the Dead Cells while preserving the unique Castlevania ambiance. This reworked soundtrack provides players with a one-of-a-kind and immersive music experience as they go through the game.
